Job Description & Requirements Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nurse in the region is responsible for providing specialized care to critically ill newborns within a Level 4 NICU. This position involves delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with healthcare teams, and ensuring adherence to clinical standards. The role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment supporting neonatal health and recovery. Job Details Required Qualifications: 2 years of Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience preferred. Certification, licensing, and minimum 2 years of clinical experience required. Valid professional license and drivers license necessary. Schedule: Shift hours are 12-hour days, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Responsibilities include providing bedside patient care, monitoring neonatal vital signs, administering treatments, and documenting care in the Sunrise Clinical Manager Electronic Medical Record (EMR). Float: Float rotation may be required, including to Pediatric Intensive Care Units (PICU) and to the NICU in Carmel, IN, if needed.
