Licensed Electrical Engineer (PE) | 100% Remote

Our client is a highly respected and growing MEP consulting firm seeking a Professional Engineer (PE) to lead the design of electrical systems for healthcare, commercial, municipal, and institutional facilities. • Design electrical systems for healthcare, medical office, commercial, municipal, and institutional facilities.
• Develop normal, emergency, and standby power distribution systems, including generators, UPS systems, and automatic transfer switches.
• Design lighting systems and lighting controls.
• Design life safety and fire alarm systems in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Develop low-voltage systems, including nurse call, public address, and data/communications infrastructure.
• Prepare and review construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD MEP.
• Perform Arc Flash studies, short-circuit calculations, breaker coordination, and fault mitigation analyses.
• Provide construction administration support, including submittal reviews, RFI responses, field inspections, and site reports.
• Collaborate with architects, project managers, mechanical engineers, and clients throughout project lifecycles.
• Mentor junior engineers and EITs.
• Support project management efforts, including planning, scheduling, and coordination.
• Contribute to business growth through technical excellence and client engagement.

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Current Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 6+ years of electrical design experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a licensed PE.
• Experience designing electrical systems for healthcare, commercial, municipal, or institutional facilities.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA standards, and International Building Codes.
• Experience designing:
  • Power distribution systems
  • Emergency and backup power systems
  • Fire alarm systems
  • Lighting and lighting controls
  • Low-voltage building systems
• Proficiency with Revit.
• Strong communication and project coordination skills.

• EIT certification or prior EIT experience.
• AutoCAD MEP experience.
• Experience with EasyPower and/or SKM.
• Familiarity with Visual, MasterSpec, and SpecsIntact.
• Healthcare or VA hospital project experience.
• Project management experience.
• Interest in leadership, business development, or practice growth initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer who wants to work remotely, lead meaningful projects, and play a key role in the continued growth of a well-established MEP consulting firm.

This is a Permanent position based out of Remote, OR.

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $130000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
