Senior Project Manager – Civil & Utility Infrastructure

A growing infrastructure services firm is looking to bring on a Senior Project Manager to provide leadership, stability, and strategic direction for its Austin-area operations. This role sits at the intersection of people leadership, project execution, and client engagement, with responsibility for guiding an established team and strengthening delivery across public infrastructure and utility-focused work.

You’ll inherit a functioning office with an experienced staff of approximately 8–10 professionals and play a key role in elevating performance, developing future leaders, and expanding long-term client partnerships throughout Central Texas.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Providing day-to-day leadership and operational oversight for a regional office
• Managing and mentoring engineers, project managers, and field staff
• Acting as the primary point of contact for select key clients and high-visibility projects
• Supporting business development efforts, including proposals and client strategy, alongside executive leadership
• Maintaining technical quality, documentation standards, and regulatory compliance across projects

What We’re Looking For

• Professional Engineer license, or the ability to obtain licensure in Texas within 12 months
• 10+ years of experience in civil engineering, utilities, or public infrastructure
• Demonstrated experience leading teams across multiple disciplines or service lines
• Strong leadership presence with a focus on coaching, accountability, and process improvement
• Background in transportation, utility coordination, or water/wastewater projects preferred
