Senior .Net Developer

Description:Group Description: Registration & Licensing Team (RAILS). Within Legal Compliance Risk and Regulatory Technology, they are building a system registration and licensing program to service two groups—registration licensing (making sure people comply) and actual brokers (making sure brokers have the right licensing and communicating it to FINRA). The system will be built in .net and utilize web services. They’d like this system to handle multiple transactions. Ideally, they’d like the system to be able to show if a broker needs additional licensing, to complete exams. They’d also like the system to enable brokers to fill out a “U4” which includes personal history, disclosures to be communicated to FINRA. They are currently doing this now in a manual process but would like this streamlined. Multi-year project with more initiatives behind it. We have roughly 10 developers in this group working on different initiatives and we are looking to create this new team with top talent. Responsibilities

• Enhance application as Responsive web application using ASP.NET MVC 5/4.5, Visual C# 5/4.5,
• Write LINQ (LINQ to DB2, LINQ to SQL) based queries to manage data in both SQL Server and DB2
• Write middle-tier functionality in ASP.NET Web API
• Write Stored Procedures in DB2
• Enhance and maintain legacy applications
• Manage production deployment of front-end codes & provide limited production support, analysis and solution

• Hands on experience in NET MVC, C#, Visual Studio 2013/2012, Jquery, HTML/CSS, SQL, XML, LINQ, WEB API and JSON, Microsoft Practices Enterprise Library
• Knowledge of HTML5 is a plus.
• Object oriented programming.
• Application testing experience: TDD, Unit Testing, Mock framework.
• Solid understanding of web standards and accessibility
• Strong experience designing and working with n-tier architectures
