Work across teams to implement and advance the adoption of complex strategic global solutions that give JPMorgan Chase a competitive advantage.Job responsibilities Advises and leads on architecture strategy of multiple products, applications, and technologies across a portfolioTranslates highly complex technical issues, trends, and approaches to leadership to drive the firm’s innovation and enable leaders to make strategic, well-informed decisions about target state architectureDrives adoption and implementation of technical methods in specialized fields in line with the latest product development methodologiesEstablishes and leads an architecture governance bodyCreates durable, reusable software frameworks that improves velocity and quality of output across teams and functionsPartner across domains to reduce tooling duplication, clarify ownership, and maintain authoritative technology status and lifecycle governanceImprove decision traceability, cost-performance outcomes, and review-board effectiveness through clear standards, metrics, and architectural guardrailsEvaluate emerging capabilities for enterprise fit and adoption readiness.Leads reuse-first adoption of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate architecture analysis, option evaluation, and delivery of strategic global solutions, with human-in-the-loop validation and appropriate handling of sensitive data.Establishes portfolio-level guardrails for AI-assisted and agentic workflows used in architecture and engineering governance, including traceability/auditability and control expectations aligned to resiliency and security standards.Champions the firm’s culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect Required qualifications, capabilities, and skillsObtain 10 plus years of applied experience and formal training or certification on Architecture concepts Practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityExpertise in one or more architecture disciplinesDemonstrated prior experience influencing across functions and teams to deliver modern architectureExperience applying expertise and new methods to determine solutions for complex architecture problems across various technical disciplinesExtensive practical cloud native experienceAbility to evaluate current and emerging technologies to recommend the best technology solutions and approaches to achieve the future state architectureDeep expertise across Data Management Architecture areas, including expertise in database technologies (relational, NoSQL, graph, etc.), Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) tools and processes for managing data pipelines, data warehouses, data lakes, data analytics and data mining tools, and data governanceStrong understanding of hybrid and multi-cloud operational modelsDemonstrated experience leading safe adoption of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment across architecture workflows, including validation practices and awareness of data sensitivityPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsAdvanced certifications in cloud, enterprise architecture, ITSM, SRE, or security disciplines.Expertise in operational automation, event intelligence, and self-healing workflows integrated with ticketing and incident processes.Experience with enterprise CMDB and asset intelligence programs that improve control compliance and cost transparency.Familiarity with financial-services regulatory and control frameworks for operational resilience and auditability.
