Job Title: Nurse Practitioner - General Surgery, Physician Assistant - General Surgery


Job Description:

We are seeking 1-2 highly qualified providers to assist with urgent coverage needs in Santa Rosa from June 1st to August 31st. Providers must have availability for at least two weeks on/2 weeks off or more. Shifts are 10 hours long (8 am - 6 pm). The candidate must have a Physician Assistant (PA-C) with general surgery experience. NPs can be considered but must hold an ACNP credential and be nationally certified.


Requirements:

• Active California license and CA DEA
• Board Certified in General Surgery or equivalent experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• For NPs: ACNP credential and national certification
• For PAs: General surgery experience
• Experience within the last 3-5 years of residency preferred
• Ensure all files are clean; presentations without clean files will be declined

Travel Requirements:

• Not reimbursed: Mileage from home to departing airport, taxi or ride-share to/from airport
• Reimbursed: Airport parking, pre-approved rental car insurance, ride-share from destination airport to lodging/hospital and return

Privileging:

• Please upload an updated CV with all hospital affiliations
• All specialties require 2 years of current hospital clinical activity
• Gaps greater than 3 months must be explained
• Include current surgical case logs upon presentation

Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00
