Unit Secretary

Patient Care Unit CoordinatorServe as the central focus of communication for the Patient-Care Unit. Coordinate the clerical functions of the Unit- assisting with charting, admissions and discharges, etc. Maintain organization within Nurse's station to promote an orderly workflow. Receive, sort, and organize all interdepartmental communications. Schedule and coordinate special patient appointments with other departments as directed by Health Care Team Members within an appropriate amount of time. Answer call bells and assisting as appropriate. Answer a high volume of phone calls. Welcome and assist all visitors to the unit.
