We are currently seeking a creative and talented Video Editor to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position based in New York, NY, United States . The ideal candidate will be a passionate storyteller with a keen eye for detail and a strong technical aptitude for video editing. You will be responsible for transforming raw footage into compelling visual narratives that effectively communicate our brand's story, showcase our high-quality products, and engage our target audience across various digital platforms. This role is crucial for enhancing our marketing efforts and strengthening our brand presence. Responsibilities Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished, high-quality content suitable for our website, social media channels, and marketing campaigns. Collaborate closely with the marketing and creative teams to understand project objectives and ensure content aligns with brand guidelines. Incorporate graphics, visual effects, music, and sound to create engaging and impactful videos. Review and refine video content based on feedback from key stakeholders. Ensure a logical sequence and smooth flow in all finished projects. Manage and organise a library of video assets for current and future use. Stay current with the latest industry trends, editing techniques, and software to continuously improve our video content. Qualifications Proven professional experience as a Video Editor, supported by a strong portfolio of work. Expertise in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Solid experience with motion graphics and visual effects software, such as Adobe After Effects. A strong understanding of narrative, pacing, colour grading, and composition. Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
