Medical AssistantPride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client's medical facility in Lake Success, NY 11042. This is a 4+ month contract assignment (Possibility of conversion or extension) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!Location: Lake Success, NY 11042Travel: Syosset, NY 11791 (every Tuesday and the 4th Wednesday of each month to the Syosset location)Job Type: 4+ months (Possibility of extension or conversion)Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:45am - 3:45pmPay Range: $21-$23.40/hr. Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.Specific DutiesTriaging patients, obtaining and documenting vital signs, patient histories, pharmacy, medication lists, setting up injections as needed, Ultrasound machine set up, phlebotomy when needed, specimen collection, preparing patients for examinations, as well as cleaning down and stocking exam rooms.
