To support a world-class academic healthcare system, the full-time Revenue Cycle Financial Specialist will manage patient registration, verify insurance information, and assist patients with financial processes in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Collect and verify demographic, guarantor, and insurance information from patients, ensuring preauthorizations and referrals are completed as required Collaborate with clinical staff and assist patients in securing reimbursement for services while providing guidance on insurance coverage and financial assistance options Document necessary authorization information for clean billing and payment, while maintaining knowledge of hospital revenue cycle processes and regulations Required qualifications Two years of experience in medical insurance verification and hospital finance areas, including hospital billing Proficiency in using Windows-based PC systems Strong analytical and financial assessment abilities, with attention to detail Ability to multitask and adapt to a constantly changing environment Knowledge of accounting principles and excellent verbal, math, and presentation skills
