divh2Job Title/h2pRepair, maintain, and support equipment on both Aerosol and Hair Care Packaging lines to maximize productivity and quality including changeovers, set-ups, installation, and adjustments./ppAdvanced skills and knowledge of the repair and maintenance of electro-mechanical equipment, electric motors, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, conveyor systems, PLCs, bearings, shafts, production machines, and liquid filling equipment required./ppA key aspect of this role is troubleshooting machine downtime events and utilizing root cause analysis techniques to identify and resolve issues at their source./ph3Responsibilities/h3ulliDiagnose, repair, and maintain all packaging and support equipment to optimize efficiency and quality./liliConducts line changeovers and makes necessary set-up and adjustments as required by the production schedule./liliPerform line alteration, rebuilding, as necessary./liliUtilize data from both CMMS and MES to analyze and solve both routine and complex electrical and mechanical problems of processing, packaging, and auxiliary equipment./liliAssist manufacturing personnel on process related problems/liliPerform established Preventative Maintenance. Identify and correct mechanical/electrical maintenance issues found during PM process./liliAssist Engineering on equipment installations./liliRepair and fabricate parts as required./liliOperate forklift trucks as required to move equipment or materials./liliAssist and train team members in simple adjustments and maintenance/liliContinuous Improvements and problem-solving initiatives to include analyzing data to identify machine downtime issues and coming up with root cause and preventive measures/liliTrain team members in simple adjustments and maintenance/liliOther duties as assigned/li/ulh3Requirements/h3ulliAbility to read blueprints, possess advanced mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills and production maintenance work experience./liliInitiative/motivation and communication skill required./liliOverall work experience (years) 7-plus years mechanic experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment/liliThe position is in the factory and could involve standing, walking, and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds./liliOccasionally this position may require the lifting and/or moving of more than 60 pounds.
