Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a registered nurse (RN) for a position in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) located in Lewiston, Maine. The selected candidate will provide specialized peri-anesthesia care for inpatient and outpatient populations within a Level III Trauma Center. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Lewiston, Maine
• Shift: Variable between 5:00 AM and 8:00 PM
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: June 17, 2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid registered nurse (RN) license; 2 years of experience in peri-anesthesia or PACU; Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS; Experience with Epic electronic health record system and Omnicell medication management system; Ability to manage arterial lines, dysrhythmia recognition, procedural sedation, airway management, and post-operative care.
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Level II experience, teaching hospital experience, previous charge nurse experience, proficiency with Cerner, Bariatrics, pacemaker insertion, pulmonary artery line management, and familiarity with various surgical procedures listed.
• Additional Information: The RN will work in a peri-anesthesia unit with 19 beds, caring for a diverse patient population including pediatric and adult patients, with responsibilities spanning multiple surgical disciplines and procedures.
