Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic

About the Role Our client is seeking a certified A&P Mechanic to join its growing General Aviation maintenance team. This is a hands‑on role for someone who values quality workmanship, continuous improvement, and being part of a collaborative team. Enjoy a regular weekly schedule with weekends and holidays off while working close to home. Key Responsibilities Report directly to the Shop Supervisor Perform aircraft maintenance in accordance with established guidance and timelines Conduct 100‑hour/annual inspections, repairs, maintenance, and installations Mentor apprentices as needed Maintain detailed and accurate work orders in Quantum MX software Maintain training logbook Ensure shop cleanliness and organization Participate in company meetings Communicate effectively via verbal updates, email, and Slack Use company systems including G‑Suite, Slack, AD Toolbox, Quantum MX, Zoom, and Google Calendar Perform additional assigned duties Requirements Certified A&P License (Airframe & Powerplant) Minimum 1+ year experience in General Aviation No history of license infractions Must provide own tools and laptop Ability to bend, squat, and work in tight spaces for extended periods Authorized to work in the United States Must pass background check, reference checks, and drug test Preferred Qualifications Experience with small reciprocating aircraft Familiarity with maintenance tracking programs Strong computer proficiency (word processing, spreadsheets, aviation software) Compensation & Benefits Salary commensurate with experience (Tier-based skill evaluation) Scheduled pay increases at 90 and 180 days Health insurance stipend Accrued Paid Time Off (PTO) after probation Medical insurance #J-18808-Ljbffr W3Global
