#Education & Job Requirements

*High School Diploma or GED equivalent
*3+ years of recent work-related experience
*Part 145 Repair Station experience

*Prior aircraft sheet metal repair experience
*Valid driver's license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport
*Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
*Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
*Basic computer skills to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases
*Perform all work in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration guidelines
*Follow all applicable safety rules and procedures
*Attend work every day as scheduled, including overtime and weekend assignments
*Notify the supervisor in advance of shift starting if unable to work
*Must have reliable transportation to get to work each and every day
*Work effectively under specific deadlines and time constraints

#Job Duties & Functions

*Perform basic sheet metal operations such as drilling, riveting, and cutting on airframe and associated components
*Apply and remove sealant, sound deadening, and finish materials
*Maintain, clean, and repair shop facilities, equipment, and tooling when required
*Navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases
*Comply with current Federal Aviation Regulations, Repair Station policies, and Quality Control Manual policies and procedures
*Ensure all necessary maintenance entries on maintenance forms and work orders are properly executed
*Maintain work area cleanliness and good housekeeping to promote safe operation
*Follow all required processes and procedures when work away from the Repair Station is required
*Utilize proper tooling and equipment that is calibrated and in good working order for the maintenance task
*Ensure repair and overhaul of articles and components is completed within Repair Station authority and that completed work is inspected by the inspection department
*Handle and tag all parts properly throughout the repair process and through work completion
*Inspect incoming parts, supplies, and articles to determine airworthiness prior to use for a repair or modification
*Ensure defective, non-conforming, or unairworthy parts are not installed in any component or assembly
*Communicate effectively and clearly by speaking, writing, and reading in English
*Work with others in a professional manner
*Maintain customer-oriented work habits
*Work under the supervision of the assigned Team Leader
*Supervise other technicians when directed
*Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the supervisor or management

*Lift up to 70 lbs
*Perform routine walking, bending, squatting, and sitting
*Perform routine or repetitive physical motions with the arms and hands
*Climb ladders and stairs
*Work in small, restricted areas
*Stand for long periods of time
*Work in a hangar environment subject to extreme temperature variations from very cold to very hot
