Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct Speech Therapy assessments and evaluations to diagnose residents and formulate treatment plans.

• Track residents' progress and modify treatments as necessary.

• Document details regarding initial evaluations, treatment plans, progress, and client discharges.

• Evaluate and monitor progress, preparing comprehensive reports.

• Safeguard resident confidentiality by managing sensitive information appropriately.

• Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and standards.

• Foster collaborative relationships among healthcare team members and contribute to team efforts.

Qualifications for SLP Candidates:

• Graduation from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.

• Possession of a current SLP License in New York State.

• Knowledge of current evidence-based practices aligned with the standards set by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
