Project Administrator

The Project Administrator role reports to the Director of Administration and is responsible for supporting administrative operations on multiple projects. This is a full-time in-office position based out of our Lynchburg, VA office. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional who enjoys supporting construction teams, managing project documentation, and helping projects move efficiently from startup through closeout.

• • Responsible for supporting Superintendents, Project Managers, and Project Executives to ensure the timely and accurate completion of administrative tasks.

  • Track and organize project documentation, including submittals and RFIs.
  • Update project management software daily for all assigned projects.
  • Ensure the project team has the most up-to-date documentation.
  • Assist in obtaining permits
  • Manage information from subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Maintain submittal logs for projects.
  • Prepare and submit project close-out documentation, As-built drawings and extra materials, for Owners and Architects.
  • Issue and maintain subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders for projects after approval.
  • Perform other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.

Experience, Education, & Certifications

• High School Diploma or GED; a Bachelors Degree is preferred.
• 1 - 3 years of relevant administrative assistant experience.
• Construction, engineering, or architecture industry experience preferred.
• Demonstrate strong skills in data entry, Microsoft Office suite, collaborative meeting platforms, and general office equipment; ProjectSight experience desired.
