About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Data Engineering to spearhead the launch of innovative new initiatives within a dynamic and high-growth environment. The successful candidate will be part of a new department that is backed and led by serial entrepreneurs with a track record of building high-impact technology ventures. This role offers maximum ownership, allowing the individual to have complete autonomy in system architecture, strategy, and execution. The focus is on rapid market validation and scalable traction, with an emphasis on good ideas and fast execution. As the Head of Data Engineering, you will be responsible for leading and executing core initiatives in cutting-edge domains, translating strategic vision into execution roadmaps, and driving the implementation of scalable solutions. The ideal candidate should be based in Europe or the Americas, or be open to relocation or remote arrangements, and must possess a high-agency builder mindset with proven domain expertise. The role requires excellent communication skills in English and the ability to take extreme end-to-end ownership. The Head of Data Engineering will work closely with an elite team of engineers, researchers, and commercial leaders, and will report directly to the department founder. The position is pivotal in positioning the new department for rapid growth and potential spin-off to attract institutional backing.
