Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate patients' mental health needs, strengths, and resources.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution-focused approaches.

• Provide crisis intervention, risk assessments, and safety planning as necessary, particularly for patients managing complex emotional responses to their conditions.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, including participating in case consultations and attending relevant training sessions.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring confidentiality and quality in patient care.

• Facilitate psychoeducation classes, support groups, and therapeutic workshops for both clients and their families.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will primarily serve patients within a hospice center, providing care to individuals with terminal illnesses. Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
