Calibration Technician
$24 - $27 per hourEurofins
Eurofins seeks a calibration technician to perform maintenance, calibrations, and repairs on laboratory pipettes and instrumentation. The role involves both field service at customer sites and lab-based work, with travel up to five days weekly in the San Jose area.
Responsibilities
- Perform calibrations, qualifications, and preventative maintenance on single and multi-channel pipettes
- Travel to customer sites to deliver calibration and maintenance services
- Troubleshoot and repair small laboratory equipment in field and lab settings
- Manage parts inventory and complete administrative documentation accurately
- Communicate with customers to schedule services and report issues affecting turnaround times
Requirements
- Two- or four-year degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry, electronic engineering, biotechnology, or related field
- 0–1 years experience in field service or related field for FSE I; 1–3 years for FSE II
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Physical ability to lift equipment and work in laboratory environments
- Technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Clear verbal and written communication abilities
- Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
Compensation: FSE I: $24/h–$27/h; FSE II: $27/h–$30/h
