Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager An established financial services firm in Stamford, CT is hiring an FP&A Manager to lead its budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to senior leadership and a real seat at the table in how the business plans and makes decisions. If you enjoy owning a process end to end, building clean models, and turning numbers into insight — not just reporting them — this is a great fit. What you'll do Own the annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting process; build, maintain, and continuously improve the planning and forecasting models. Lead cash flow forecasting and provide clear visibility into how capital is being used. Analyze results against plan and forecast; identify trends and variances and translate them into actionable recommendations. Partner with leaders across the business to understand the drivers behind the numbers and support decision‑making. Build out reporting and light automation to make the process faster, cleaner, and more reliable. Support ad hoc financial analysis and leadership requests. What we're looking for 4–8 years of FP&A experience (budgeting, forecasting, modeling, variance analysis). Financial services industry experience strongly preferred. Advanced Excel modeling skills; experience with Access or BI/reporting tools is a plus. A hands‑on individual contributor who likes to own the work directly. Strong business acumen and communication skills; comfortable presenting to and partnering with senior stakeholders. Thrives in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
