Labor and Delivery - RN - Charge

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Labor and Delivery RN for a temporary assignment in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado

Schedule: 7:00AM - 7:00PM x 3

Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension

Pay Rate: $81 - $88/hr

Responsibilities for a L&D:

Serve as Night Charge RN within the Family Birth Place Team

Provide care in Labor & Delivery (L&D) with OR, PACU, and postpartum settings, including couplet care

Support a unit with approximately 80 deliveries per month

Provide care for babies 32 weeks gestational age and up

Deliver evidenced-based care to provide the best experience for patients and families

Work 12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends

Participate in call rotation, typically one 12-hour shift every 6 weeks (subject to change)

Maintain current Colorado RN license or compact license to practice in Colorado in good standing

Maintain current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications

Maintain current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification

Maintain current S.T.A.B.L.E. certification

Comply with flu vaccine requirements from October 1st through April 1st

Function as a team player and collaborate effectively with staff

Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
