Legal Administrative Assistant

Immediate need for a Legal Administrative Assistant to work within the Legal Department of a corporation in Wilmington, DE. This is a temporary role. Details are below: Start: ASAP Anticipated duration: 6 months Location: Wilmington, Delaware (3 days in office) Compensation: $30/hr Legal Administrative Assistant needed to support a busy Legal Department. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys coordinating multiple priorities, and takes pride in providing exceptional administrative support. What You'll Do Coordinate and obtain signatures for a variety of legal documents. Schedule, coordinate, and organize meetings for legal staff and stakeholders. Manage travel arrangements and itineraries. Prepare expense reports and reimbursement requests. Generate purchase requisitions in accordance with company procedures. Order and maintain office supplies and equipment. Sort, screen, and distribute incoming mail and correspondence. Assist attorneys and legal team members with projects and deadline tracking. Provide administrative support and handle special projects as needed. Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive legal information. What We're Looking For 3+ years of experience in a legal environment supporting attorneys or legal teams. Strong ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. Experience supporting multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. A proactive, team-oriented approach to problem-solving and client service. Physical Requirements Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodations. Work is generally performed sitting, talking, hearing, and typing. This is a high-volume screen-based role, requiring constant, prolonged computer usage, including but not limited to: reviewing documents, managing visual content, and attending virtual meetings. Visual acuity required for computer use, data analysis, and extended reading. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and document handling. Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching. Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds. Remote Work & Information Security Requirements Maintain a secure and reliable internet connection capable of supporting required systems and applications. Utilize company-issued or approved technology, including compliance with required security tools (VPN, multi-factor authentication, endpoint protection). Conduct work in a manner that protects the confidentiality of information, including taking reasonable steps to prevent unauthorized access, viewing, or disclosure of sensitive materials. Follow all applicable information security, data privacy, and acceptable use policies as communicated by the Company. Promptly report any suspected security incidents, breaches, or system vulnerabilities in accordance with Company protocols.
