Sandblaster 

Pay: $16.00 – $19.00 per hour

 

Position Summary: The Sandblaster's role is to use various blast media and blasting equipment to prepare parts and assemblies for coating, meeting or exceeding customer specs and productivity requirements by ensuring correct media and equipment settings. 

 

Schedule:

• Full-time + overtime available
• 1:30pm-10:30pm (Mandatory Overtime, subject to change 5pm-5am)

 

Responsibilities:

• Prepare metal for painting, which includes sandblasting and wiping down steel to remove oil and cutting fluids
• Use measurement devices to measure & record sandblast profile
• Perform daily maintenance routines on blast equipment
• Clean blast booth, lights and change filters
• Follow safe operating and lifting procedures
• Wear proper safety equipment

 

Qualifications:

• 1 or more year experience blasting in a production/industrial environment 
• Ability to read tape measure
