Associate Director, Global Revenue

Guardant Health seeks an Associate Director of Global Revenue to lead worldwide revenue accounting, accounts receivable, and order-to-cash operations. The role manages technical revenue recognition under ASC 606, oversees regional teams across multiple geographies, and ensures accurate financial reporting and controls for a precision oncology company.

Responsibilities

• Set global revenue accounting strategy, establish policies, and lead execution across Palo Alto and offshore teams
• Evaluate customer contracts under ASC 606, assess variable consideration and performance obligations, and document technical conclusions
• Direct global accounts receivable function including invoicing, credit approval, collections, and dispute resolution
• Own month-end and quarter-end close for revenue and receivables, including reconciliations and internal controls
• Partner with FP&A and commercial teams on revenue forecasting, pricing models, and readiness for new products or markets

Requirements

• Deep expertise in ASC 606 revenue recognition and U.S. GAAP accounting standards
• Proven leadership experience managing accounting teams across multiple regions and time zones
• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, billing, collections, and working capital management
• Experience with revenue systems (Oracle preferred) and process automation
• Ability to partner with commercial, legal, and finance stakeholders on complex contract evaluation
• Background in SOX compliance and internal controls design and remediation
