Shipping & Receiving AssociateExpress Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable Shipping & Receiving Associate for a growing manufacturing company in the Grapevine area. This position is responsible for the movement of materials, inventory control, shipping and receiving activities, and supporting production operations in a fast-paced industrial environment.ResponsibilitiesReceive materials from vendors, warehouses, and other locations, verifying counts and documentationLoad and unload incoming and outgoing shipments safely and accuratelyMove materials, components, and finished products using forklifts, cranes, and other material handling equipmentStage and prepare finished goods for shipmentMaintain shipping, receiving, and inventory records through data entry and inventory control systemsDeliver materials to production work centers as neededInvestigate and report discrepancies in shipments, inventory, or receiving documentationParticipate in cycle counts and inventory auditsAnswer inquiries regarding shipments, inventory status, and material receiptsFollow all company safety policies and PPE requirementsQualificationsPrevious shipping, receiving, warehouse, or material handling experience preferredForklift experience required; experience operating cranes, yard tractors, or similar equipment is a plusStrong computer and data entry skillsExperience with inventory control systems and warehouse documentationAbility to read part numbers, material descriptions, and shipping documents accuratelyStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentValid driver's license with a good driving recordAbility to obtain a CDL if requiredPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for the entire shiftAbility to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionallyAbility to bend, stoop, kneel, climb, and reach as neededComfortable working in a manufacturing environment with noise, machinery, and varying temperaturesAdditional InformationOpportunity to join an established and growing manufacturing operationHands-on role supporting production, inventory, and customer shipmentsTeam-oriented environment with long-term career potentialImmediate openings available
