Assistant Service Manager - Capitol Heights, MD

Pay range: $19.00 - $24.00/hr, with base pay varying by job-related factors. General Description As an Assistant Service Manager , you will gain hands‑on experience in a Goodyear Auto Service Center, building guest relationships and ensuring outstanding service. You will manage the service department by scheduling associates, coordinating appointments, and organizing workflow to deliver quality work on time. Training and development of department associates is part of your role. Responsibilities Drive and reach sales goals through guest interactions, including tire and service sales. Build guest relationships and ensure satisfaction as liaison between technicians and guests. Effectively manage the service department as needed. Contribute to training and development of department associates. Articulate all warranties, promotions, and advertisements. Utilize tools to make recommendations to guests based on manufacturing guidelines. Maintain a clean and safe work and guest area. Perform manual tasks for extended periods, including light and heavy lifting, standing, bending, and squatting. Basic Qualifications Minimum 1 year of previous automotive service department experience. Valid driver's license. At least 18 years of age. No relocation offered for this position. Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future. Preferred Qualifications Previous management experience. Previous automotive service sales experience.
