Job Description

Weekend Requirements: None On Call Requirements: None Job Description We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team for a position with a May start date. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, specific experience in Nuclear Medicine, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Responsibilities:
- Perform nuclear medicine procedures and imaging.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals as per protocols.
- Ensure proper functioning of equipment and assist in preventive maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to procedures.
- Adhere to safety and regulatory standards.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Nuclear Medicine; CT experience is a plus.
- Prior travel experience is strongly encouraged.
- Venipuncture experience is required.
- Valid New York State license is required.
- ARRT (N) or CNMT/NMTCB certification is acceptable.
- Experience with GE machines is preferred.
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS is essential.
- Must have a personal vehicle for travel.
- Non-billable orientation: 8 hours.
- Cancellation policy allows the facility to cancel up to 5 shifts per 13-week contract with a 2-hour notice.
- Requested time off during the assignment must be noted at the time of upload; only up to 5 days of time off may be accepted.
- Dress code: Personal scrubs of any color (no designs or cartoons) are required.
