DIGITAL CONTENT SPECIALIST

Digital Content Specialist

Custom Truck One Source and its manufacturing arm, Load King, are seeking a Digital Content Specialist to drive the execution of digital marketing initiatives across email, social media, and content channels.

This role is approximately 70% campaign coordination and project management, keeping campaigns, calendars, vendors, and stakeholders moving on time and on brand, and 30% hands-on content creation, including blog posts, email copy, and social content.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized, proactive project driver with hands-on content creation skills: someone who can manage multiple concurrent campaigns and deadlines, communicate clearly with sales teams and external contractors, and step in to create polished content when needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Campaign Coordination & Project Management

• Coordinate and execute multi-channel content campaigns (email, social media, blog) in partnership with the Digital Content Manager
• Own marketing coordination for monthly auctions, including email campaigns, social media promotion, and asset collection
• Maintain marketing calendars and project timelines across all active campaigns
• Field and fulfill marketing requests from sales teams, including email communications and promotional materials
• Coordinate photography, video, and visual assets for campaigns, including on-site shoots (contributes to ~30% travel)
• Manage external contractors (copywriters, designers, videographers) including developing project scopes aligned with company branding and voice

Content Creation

• Write and publish blog posts, email copy, social media content, and other web content
• Translate technical and industry-specific subject matter into clear, engaging content for customer audiences
• Ensure all content aligns with Custom Truck One Source and Load King brand voice, values, and visual standards

Measurement & Optimization

• Test, measure, and analyze reach, engagement, and campaign effectiveness
• Report results to stakeholders and identify opportunities to improve future campaigns and content

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field
• Solid understanding of marketing principles
• 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, with demonstrated campaign coordination or marketing project management experience
• Experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Pardot, Marketo, or similar)
• Hands-on experience managing business social media accounts (LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram)
• Strong writing and editing skills. Writing samples required with application
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with minimal oversight
• Experience coordinating with external vendors or contractors
• Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals and their impact on content
• Comfortable using AI writing and productivity tools to work efficiently

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in construction, manufacturing, heavy equipment, or a related industrial B2B environment
• Basic graphic or video editing skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)

Working Conditions

• Attendance - The ability to work as scheduled with punctual attendance, Monday-Friday plus any additional hours necessary to meet business needs.
• Ability to work outdoors as needed in all temperature conditions.
• Ability to coordinate and work with customers via phone, email, and in-person for planning and capturing social media assets.
• Ability to travel (up to 30%) for off-site content projects and events

Physical Requirements

• Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, kneeling, crouching in order to capture content and set-up backgrounds.
