Assistant Property Manager

Job Full Description

Express Employment Professionals seeks dynamic and motivated individuals to join our client's team as Assistant Property Managers. This position offers both part-time and full-time opportunities, allowing you to contribute to the success of our clients through temporary and evaluation-to-hire assignments in the North and Downtown Portland areas.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Vendor Management:
   
   
   • Gather bids from new vendors.
   • Conduct on-site meetings with vendors.
   • Compile bid comparisons to ensure the best value for our properties.
2. Material Samples:
   
   
   • Collect material samples from vendors.
   • Aid in decision-making for capital improvement projects.
3. Property Notices:
   
   
   • Deliver important notices to residents and businesses as needed.
4. Emergency Response:
   
   
   • Respond promptly to emergencies, such as leaks.
   • Coordinate appropriate actions to address emergencies.
5. Meeting Notes:
   
   
   • Take detailed minutes in meetings.
   • Ensure clear communication and follow-through on action items.
6. Event Planning:
   
   
   • Collaborate with the Property Manager to plan and execute company events.
7. Client Meeting Preparation:
   
   
   • Assist Property Managers in preparing for client meetings.
   • Gather relevant materials and information to enhance meeting effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in property management or related fields is advantageous.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to respond effectively to emergencies.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
