Accounts Payable ClerkBelton, TX | $20-$24/hr DOE | Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PMExpress Employment Professionals is hiring on behalf of a construction company in Belton, TX seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team.This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional with strong QuickBooks Desktop experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:Process and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and proper approvalEnter invoices, purchase orders, and payment information into QuickBooks Desktop (Enterprise)Prepare and issue vendor payments via check, ACH, and other payment methodsReconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepanciesMaintain organized accounts payable records and documentationMonitor accounts to ensure timely and accurate paymentsAssist with month-end and year-end close processesGenerate reports and maintain spreadsheets using Microsoft ExcelCommunicate professionally with vendors regarding payment status and inquiriesPartner with internal departments to ensure proper coding and documentation of expensesProvide additional accounting and administrative support as neededQualifications:Minimum 2 years of Accounts Payable or related accounting experience preferredRequired: Experience using QuickBooks DesktopStrong Microsoft Excel skills, including data entry, formulas, and spreadsheet managementExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlinesHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredAssociate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferredBilingual a plusConstruction industry experience a plusInterested candidates are encouraged to apply today!
