Operations Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and develop personnel across manufacturing, supply chain, customer service, receiving, shipping, and procurement functions. Coordinate production schedules and optimize resource utilization to support business objectives and customer demand. Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and documentation practices, including ISO 13485, FDA regulations, and cGMP guidelines. Support internal and external audits while driving corrective and preventive action (CAPA) initiatives. Monitor operational metrics including on‑time delivery, throughput, supplier performance, customer satisfaction, and other key business indicators. Analyze operational and supply chain performance data and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service levels. Partner with finance teams to maintain inventory accuracy, review product costing, and support profitability goals. Oversee equipment maintenance programs including calibration schedules, preventive maintenance activities, and spare parts management. Establish, track, and report operational KPIs to leadership teams. Create, revise, and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and operational consistency. Prepare and deliver reports for management, finance, quality, regulatory, and customer stakeholders. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, productivity, and operational effectiveness. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Life Sciences, or a related discipline. Minimum 4‑5 years of leadership experience managing operations, manufacturing, supply chain, or logistics teams. Experience overseeing production planning, inventory management, procurement, shipping, and receiving functions. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with experience developing and managing operational metrics. Knowledge of quality systems, regulatory requirements, and manufacturing best practices. Preferred experience working within ISO 13485, FDA‑regulated, cGMP, medical device, diagnostics, biotechnology, chemical, or similarly regulated industries. Experience supporting audits, CAPA programs, SOP development, and continuous improvement initiatives preferred. Proficiency with reporting tools, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
