This role is designed to develop future plant leadership by providing hands-on experience in plant operations, personnel management, and business processes.Key ResponsibilitiesLearn and demonstrate the operation and function of all plant equipment within the manufacturing processPerform and understand all plant and administrative roles (excluding commercial driving positions)Provide operational support by filling in for short-term staffing needs as requiredPrepare, analyze, and interpret operational reportsParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives and special projects as assignedQualificationsWillingness and ability to relocate upon successful completion of the training program (typically 18-24 months)Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical degree requiredPrior manufacturing experience preferredProven ability to perform effectively under tight deadlines and strict quality standardsStrong communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation abilitiesDemonstrated leadership capability and strong analytical/problem-solving skillsWorking ConditionsExposure to varying weather conditions, including temperature extremes, dust, rain, wind, and snowWork environment includes exposure to industrial materials such as cement dust, fuels, lubricants, and electrical systemsRequired use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including hearing and respiratory protection in designated areasPhysical requirements include climbing stairs and ladders, ability to lift 80 pounds and performing tasks requiring strength, endurance, and manual dexterityQUIKRETE® is an equal opportunity employer committed to developing a workforce with well-qualified individuals without regard to race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, marital status, citizenship status, status with regard to public assistance or any other characteristic/status protected by law.
