Job Title: Member Service Representative

Schedule: Availability: Mon-Sat 8am-6pm, this is a rotating 8hr per day schedule with 1 Sat a month

Job Description:

Our client in Pittsfield, Massachusetts is seeking friendly, professional, and customer-focused Member Service Representatives to join their team. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for members, providing exceptional service, resolving inquiries, and supporting day-to-day account and service needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding service to members in person, over the phone, and through electronic communication
• Assist members with account questions, transactions, and general service requests
• Resolve member concerns efficiently and professionally
• Educate members on available products, services, and account options
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of member interactions
• Process transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Support branch and team goals by delivering a high level of service and operational accuracy
• Perform additional administrative and customer support duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous customer service, member service, banking, credit union, or retail experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Proficient with basic computer systems and data entry
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a financial institution or service-driven environment
• Cash handling and transaction processing experience
• Bilingual skills are a plus

• Previous experience in a call center or customer-facing service environment.
• Ability to manage inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and confidence.
• Strong verbal communication skills and a customer-first approach to problem solving.
• Experience entering detailed information accurately into business systems.
• Comfortable handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced support setting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
