Badger State Staffing is seeking a motivated Inside Sales & Fulfillment Associate for a full-time position based in Appleton. In this dual role, you will manage the full order lifecycle within a steel fabrication facility, bridging the gap between technical sales and physical operations. Your primary focus is supporting inside sales efforts, but you will also maintain a hands-on presence in the warehouse - stepping in to pull product and manage inventory during peak times.

Duties:

• Serve as the first point of contact, working to understand the customer needs and crafting solutions through clear communication
• Quote customers in a timely manner from inventory, by procurement, or special manufacture to meet the requirements for delivery
• Transform inquiries into confirmed orders with accurate and efficient quoting
• Collaborate with internal teams (warehouse, procurement, engineering) to ensure on-time deliveries and exceed customer expectations
• Identify and troubleshoot customer issues, finding creative solutions that foster a positive service experience
• Manage orders from inception to completion, providing updates and keeping track of progress to ensure smooth project flow
• Act as the central communication hub between customers, production, and engineers

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related technical field with 2-4 years of experience in a related industry
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand technical specifications of high-performance stainless-steel products
• Ability to maintain a hands-on presence in the warehouse, including the ability to lift, move, and pull products for shipments as needed
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for managing end-to-end customer relationships and providing accurate quotes
