Cardiologist - Heart Failure

Position Details

• Trailblazing Role: Be the only Heart Failure Cardiologist in Southern New Mexico, bringing advanced care to an underserved and growing population.
• Impactful Work: Manage complex heart failure cases using cutting-edge therapies and evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes and quality of life.
• Collaborative Team: Work closely with general and interventional cardiologists, nurses, dietitians, case managers, and pharmacists to provide holistic care.
• Exciting Schedule: Monday-Thursday (8 AM-5 PM) and Friday (8 AM-4 PM), with 1:7 general cardiology call rotation, offering excellent work-life balance.
• Qualifications:
  • MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited cardiology fellowship.
  • Advanced fellowship training or certification in heart failure and transplant cardiology.
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Preferred Skills:
  • Expertise in cardiac imaging (MRI, advanced echocardiography).
  • Experience in clinical research or enthusiasm for clinical trials.
  • Familiarity with the latest heart failure guidelines and technologies.
