Importantly, the Department is leading efforts at the University of Texas at Austin to execute cutting-edge basic and clinical research that illuminates the underlying neurobiological causes of psychiatric disorders and identifies novel treatments for psychiatric disorders.\n\nAbout The Adult PsychiatristPosition\nThe Dell Medical School Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, in collaboration with Integral Care, seeks a board certified or eligible psychiatrist to join its community-focused clinical faculty. This role offers the opportunity to transform mental health care delivery through innovative clinical, educational, and research initiatives in partnership with a nationally recognized Local Mental Health Authority. The ideal candidate will be committed to exemplary, patient-centered care and bring strong collaborative skills to work across multidisciplinary teams. Clinical responsibilities will be based in Integral Care settings and tailored to the candidate’s interests, which may include outpatient care, crisis services, residential treatment, or jail psychiatry. The position includes opportunities for teaching and mentoring medical students and residents, contributing to new models of integrated care, and engaging in scholarly activities.
