Smith Personnel is hiring an Accounts Payable Floater to support multiple departments while maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with daily AP functions.

Pay $19/hour (Based on Experience)

Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm $19/ based on experience

The AP Floater is responsible for compiling and maintaining accounts payable records while cross-training in other departments. This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Create purchase orders and receipt entries in ERP system (Epicor)
• Print and obtain signatures on purchase orders and packing slips
• Perform 3-way matching (invoices, purchase orders, receipts)
• Review invoices for proper documentation and approvals
• Prepare and distribute vendor checks
• Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely manner
• Maintain AP reports, spreadsheets, and filing systems
• Maintain labor cards in Excel
• Assist in other departments as needed (floater role)
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or trade certification required
  • OR High School Diploma/GED with 1–3 years of Accounts Payable experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems (Epicor preferred)
• Strong typing and data entry skills
