Description

• Conduct evaluations for individuals across pediatric, adult, and senior demographics utilizing established assessments and observational methods.
• Create tailored therapeutic plans targeting both immediate objectives and long-lasting communication, cognitive, or swallowing challenges.
• Administer individualized speech therapy focusing on various aspects such as language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Partner with physical therapists, occupational therapists, healthcare providers, caregivers, and family members to establish integrated care strategies.
• Provide educational support to patients and families for continued progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Conduct occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring a seamless care pathway throughout treatment.
• Keep meticulous and timely records that conform to local, national, and organizational regulations.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through continuing education and peer collaboration.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not currently ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
