Information Security Engineer

Location: Chandler, AZ Salary: $52.00 USD Hourly - $57.00 USD Hourly Description: Information Security Engineer (Contract) We are not accepting C2C or 1099 arrangements. Location: Chandler, AZ (Preferred) or Las Colinas, TX Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire About the Role We are seeking an experienced Information Security Engineer to support moderately complex security initiatives and contribute to enterprise-scale security planning. In this role, you will help analyze security challenges, implement best practices, and collaborate across engineering and infrastructure teams to strengthen the organization's security posture. What You'll Do Contribute to the design, implementation, and support of Information Security Engineering initiatives Analyze and resolve moderately complex security issues requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors Partner with Security Architecture, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams to ensure alignment with enterprise security standards Implement and support core security capabilities, including: Risk management Threat identification and modeling Monitoring and incident response Access management and business continuity Identify gaps in infrastructure security controls and drive remediation aligned to policies and baselines Manage security exceptions and escalate risks appropriately Conduct independent research and perform deep analysis to solve security problems Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver secure, compliant solutions Minimum Qualifications 4+ years of experience in Information Security Engineering or related field Experience with network security, including firewalls and firewall rule/policy management Hands-on experience applying industry security best practices across multiple domains (e.g., confidentiality, integrity, availability) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently Experience collaborating with cross-functional technical teams Preferred Qualifications Experience with Security Architecture frameworks and principles Familiarity with infrastructure components (e.g., servers, networking, cloud environments) Background in cybersecurity operations or engineering Experience working in large financial services or highly regulated environments What We're Looking For Strong technical foundation in network and infrastructure security Ability to assess risk and prioritize remediation efforts Effective communicator who can work across teams and influence outcomes Self-starter with strong research and analytical capabilities Additional Details Contract role with potential for full-time conversion Opportunity to work on large-scale enterprise security initiatives Collaborative, cross-functional environment By providing your phone number, you consent to: (1) receive automated text messages and calls from the Judge Group, Inc. and its affiliates (collectively "Judge") to such phone number regarding job opportunities, your job application, and for other related purposes.
