Senior AccountantJob SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join a diversified family-owned business with operations and investments across light manufacturing, quick-service restaurants, and other family investmentsThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial reporting, financial analysis, and process improvement to support financial compliance and strategic decision-making.The Senior Accountant will use strong analytical, technical, and communication skills while collaborating with different teams and mentoring junior accounting staff.Is this your next job Read the full description below to find out, and do not hesitate to make an application.ResponsibilitiesPerform monthly and fiscal year-end close activities, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and bank statement reconciliations.Ensure accounting schedules are accurate and up to date.Prepare intercompany inventory transfer reconciliationsMaintain depreciation schedules for all company locations.Prepare and analyze financial statements, general ledgers, and other financial documentsAssist with budget preparation, monitoring, and forecastingAssist with tax return preparation and, when needed, tax return filing.Lead the Accounts Payable process, including proper invoice coding and receipt.Identify and implement process and technology improvements within accounting operations.Ensure compliance with applicable governmental accounting requirementsPerform other accounting duties as assigned.RequirementsBachelor's degree in accounting.CPA preferredAccounting experienceStrong technical accounting skills.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft ExcelProficiency with Pro Series Tax softwareExperience in Tax Accounting. xhyhwjd Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
