** Oakland County Law Firm seeking Digital Marketing Specialist **

An Oakland County law firm is seeking a marketing candidate who has a bachelor's degree from a four-year university and a minimum of five years professional experience in content creation, digital communications, website management, and marketing.

** Responsibilities of the position include: **

• Research, write, and distribute firm-branded content (site articles, videos, guest posts, legal articles, social media posts, and more)
• Work closely with other team content creators and the rest of the firm to generate content ideas, coordinate projects and complete content.
• Content writing on firm’s website and social media channels. A plus if candidate has prior experience with medical topics.
• Write captions​ for firm's posts across the firm's social media platforms
• Use ​the firm's existing Canva templates ​t​o create new content
• Share industry news ​and topical subjects on ​the firm’s stories
• Research literature, forums, industry news, etc... to then analyze and condense complex pieces of information to share in a more accessible manner
• Ability to quickly understand and disseminate complex medical and legal information into clear, business-to-consumer writing.
• Respond to Social media posts if applicable and direct to the appropriate staff members

** Experience/Requirements: **

• Prior experience working in a collaborative team environment, contributing ideas, communicating effectively, supporting colleagues, and balancing individual responsibilities with shared team goals
• Ability to prioritize and manage a diverse workload
• Strong attention to detail and demonstrated editing and proofreading skills
• Professional judgment and discretion when interacting with clients and potential clients
• Commitment to creating original, human-generated content, writing, and graphics that reflect authentic experiences and support our mission to provide personal, compassionate communication
• Experience managing social media accounts for organizations, brand, businesses, or non-profits
• Knowledge of major social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, and LinkedIn
• Experience creating engaging social media content including graphics, short-form videos, and community focused posts

** Technical Skills Required: **

• Experience using social media scheduling and content management tools such as Plann, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.
• Proficiency with WordPress website management, customization, creating landing pages and updating content.
• Experience with WordPress sites, including: performing site audits, creating or fixing redirect chains, and other technical maintenance tasks.
• Familiarity with video editing software such as CapCut and OpusClip
• Knowledge of website structure, plugins, themes, and basic front-end development (HTML, CSS, and/or JavaScript); Knowledge of basic graphic design principles
• Proficiency in Canva; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
• Prior coding experience is a plus
