Job Description
# NICU RN - LEVEL III

## Schedule
- Start: ASAP
- Average every other weekend; weekends may exceed every other to meet unit needs.

## Assignment Details
- Travel assignment: Up to 26 weeks (must include holiday RTO; must work 3 of 5 major holidays).

## Requirements
- Experience : Minimum 2 years RN experience including Level III NICU experience; at least 1 year in NICU.
- Certifications : BLS, NRP (Advanced preferred or must obtain before start), PALS.
- EMR : Epic.

## Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for neonates and infants in a Level III NICU setting.
- Manage ventilator support and other advanced respiratory therapies.
- Administer medications, including IV vasopressors and blood products.
- Conduct thorough assessments and monitor patient vitals and lab results.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care delivery.
- Educate families on developmental care and support.

## Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: Approximately 36 hours.
- Facility allows to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
- All requested RTO must be submitted at time of submittal; approval based on facility needs.
