Experienced or Licensed Veterinary Technician

Spring Harbor Animal Hospital is searching for an experienced or licensed Veterinary Technician to join our fantastic team. Outside the hospital, we love having fun together — painting our pets, going to the beach, kayaking, working on puppy and kitten puzzles, and decorating the clinic with watercolor artwork. Inside the hospital, we bring that same authenticity, creativity, and support into our work every day.

The role involves providing compassionate nursing care and technical support for patients, assisting veterinarians during exams, treatments, diagnostics, and procedures, supporting surgical and dental procedures as directed by the veterinary team, monitoring patients and assisting with treatment plans, communicating clearly and compassionately with clients, maintaining accurate patient records and supporting hospital workflow, collaborating with teammates to provide excellent patient and client care, and participating in team communication and monthly meetings.

Previous Veterinary Technician experience is required, and licensed Veterinary Technician credentials are preferred. You should have strong technical and patient care skills, excellent communication and client service abilities, a positive attitude and collaborative mindset, willingness to ask for help and offer help to others, passion for continued learning and professional growth, and appreciation for teamwork, authenticity, and a little cattitude.
