Description Location: UCHealth UCHlth Memorial Hosp Central, Colorado Springs, CO Department: Radiology Diagnostic FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Nights Pay: $28.38 - $39.74 / hour. Shift differential included for evenings, nights and weekends. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience. Relocation bonus may apply for qualified candidates. Minimum Requirements Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R) Specialty ARRT certification(s) if required for position State licensure if required by law Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification. Certified BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date; card must be good through sixty days of hire. Responsibilities Review patient history and initiate radiographic images based on physician order. Prioritize procedural patient education to ensure mutual understanding and cooperation. Safely administer contrast media or associated imaging medications while monitoring patient condition. Respond and report changes in patient condition as appropriate. Implement techniques to yield clarity in image, apply quality control and maintain equipment functionality based on established best practices in Radiology (AART).
