Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments encompassing physical examinations and comprehensive medical history evaluations
• Assist in the diagnosis and evaluation of surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and lab results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement patient-specific surgical treatment plans
• Provide support during surgery, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and efficiently handing off instruments
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Education & Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preference for candidates with completed clinical rotations with a surgical focus

Certifications Needed

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
