A national law firm is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Legal Intake Coordinator for its Long Beach office.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to interact professionally and compassionately with individuals seeking legal assistance.

This position will with incoming client inquiries, evaluate potential new cases, and coordinate the initial client intake process.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional, courteous, and compassionate telephone manner.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple inquiries and prioritize tasks.
• Good computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and electronic databases.
• Ability to learn new software and case management systems.
• Strong listening skills and ability to obtain detailed information from prospective clients.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.

Helpful Experience

The following experience is beneficial but not required:

• Previous employment with a law firm or legal intake department.
• Experience in customer service, call centers, medical offices, or client relations.
• Familiarity with legal case management or customer relationship management (CRM) software.
• Experience with call tracking, lead management, or marketing-related inquiries.
• Familiarity with medical terminology or medical records.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.

Prior legal experience is not required. Training will be provided.
