Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification (state-appropriate)
• Proficiency supporting K-12 students with mild to severe disabilities
• Experience implementing IEPs and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Background in managing varied classroom behaviors and fostering a positive learning climate
• Preferred: Experience working with students exhibiting emotional and behavioral challenges
• Strong communication, adaptability, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute individualized lesson plans aligned with IEP goals
• Adapt and modify curriculum to accommodate various learning needs
• Manage classroom behaviors using evidence-based strategies
• Collaborate with support staff, therapists, and families to ensure student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and student records
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team planning
