We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support our Director of Nursing (DON) in reshaping our nursing team, staffing structures, and spearheading overall change management. The ADON will play a key role in supervising clinical initiatives, monitoring key performance metrics, and enhancing patient satisfaction . Additionally, the ADON will focus on mentorship, staff development, and increasing morale within the nursing department. This role requires strong organizational skills, leadership abilities, and a pioneering spirit to navigate the challenges of a long-term care facility.

Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Requirements:

• Licensed as an RN in the state of Illinois
• Previous experience in a long-term care facility
• Previous nurse supervisor experience
• Expertise in staff education and change management

As an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), you will:

• Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in planning, developing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the day-to-day functions of the nursing department in accordance with company policy and regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in facility surveys and inspections conducted by regulatory agencies as requested by the Administrator or Director of Nursing .
• Work alongside the QA Nurse to develop, maintain, and implement the facility’s quality assurance program for the nursing department.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and periodically updating resident discharge plans .
• Perform administrative duties , including completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, and charting, as necessary throughout the day.
