Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and active CT and ARRT certifications for a travel assignment at a Magnet-designated, Level I Trauma teaching hospital.

Details

• Position rotates between an inpatient hospital setting and an outpatient imaging center, with the majority of shifts at the outpatient facility
• Level I Trauma Center and Stroke Center designation
• Short-term acute care facility with 632 staffed beds
• Patient population includes adults, geriatrics, neonates, pediatrics, infants, and adolescents
• Day shift: 8-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM; Evening shift: 8-hour shifts from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• 2–3 weekends required per month
• Epic EMR used; experience preferred
• Scrubs: light blue
• Free parking available with badge access to parking garage

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT Tech experience required
• Active CT certification and ARRT required
• Inpatient, ER, and Level I Trauma experience required
• Experience with IV and contrast administration required
• MI state license must be active by start date; compact licenses are not accepted in MI — license required if applicable
• All allied candidates must be able to provide proof of high school-level education
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
• RTO must be submitted at the time of profile; maximum of 5 days RTO per assignment
• Former core staff members must wait 12 months before returning and should be verified through HR prior to consideration
• Orientation includes Epic training for those without prior experience
• Pre-start modules are required and vary by specialty
