About the Position

Seeking a Locum Physician Assistant to support Pre Anesthesia Testing in an outpatient, office type clinical setting.

• • • Full time locum assignment
• • • Start date: September 21, 2026 or sooner
• • • Assignment length: 3–6 months
• • • Approximately 8–9 patients per day
• • • Patients are evaluated before upcoming surgery, not on the day of surgery
• • • Consistent Monday through Friday schedule
• • • No call or weekend requirements
• • • Epic EMR required

• • • Preoperative patient assessment
• • • Patient optimization
• • • Chart review & clinical data collection
• • • Medical history evaluation
• • • Referral coordination
• • • Surgical risk assessment
• • • Epic EMR documentation
• • • Anesthesia & surgical team collaboration
• • • Strong clinical judgment & communication

• • • Monday through Friday
• • • 8 hour shifts
• • • 7:30 AM–3:30 PM
• • • First patient: 8:00 AM
• • • Last patient: 3:00 PM
• • • No call
• • • No weekends
• • • No procedure based skills required

Requirements

• • • Physician Assistant with appropriate APP experience
• • • Active NY PA license in hand
• • • Board Certified
• • • Active BLS certification
• • • AHA or RQI certification
• • • Epic experience required
• • • Preoperative or pre anesthesia experience preferred
• • • Updated CV with complete work history required
